Learning to thrive...
My life path is to help cultivate the capacity and capability in people, communities, and other natural systems to renew, evolve, thrive, and become more resilient.
I believe in being authentic and living one’s truth, respecting the inner beauty in one another and nature, and being open to the exquisite wonders of the world we live in.
I currently have two career streams that fall within regenerative development:
- On one hand I am a Zero Balancing practitioner who enables and empowers people to thrive on an individual level.
- On the other, I am a regenerative consultant empowering communities and organisations to co-creatively thrive, pulling on a background in facilitation, strategic and systems thinking, ecological design, environmental management & restoration, urban design, civic ecology, and therapeutic landscape architecture.
Over the last year or so, I’ve been practicing Qi Gong and Tai Chi. I’ve found a stillness through this ‘meditation through movement’ that helps me to ground, centre, balance and energise.
When I practice Zero Balancing:
I work at Interface
‘Interface’ is an awareness of where my, and my client’s physical and energetic boundaries are. These boundaries remain clear, defined and respected, ensuring mutual safety.
I hold myself and others in the highest personal regard
This intent frames the relationship that I have within my core self and with others in all Zero Balancing sessions and discussions.
I ground and centre myself before working with my client
This heightens the efficacy of Zero Balancing and keeps me feeling healthy, strong and energised.
I allow changes to occur with engagement, stillness and a clear disconnect
I don’t force any changes to occur within my client, but rather create the conditions for my client to balance themselves through the Zero Balancing session.
I meet the client halfway, wherever they happen to be (mentally, physically, emotionally, energetically) and hold the space for them so they may safely transform.
Ego is not part of the equation. Zero Balancing is about deeply engaging the client’s body and mind, promoting rapid reorganization at whichever level is optimum for them.
At the completion of the Zero Balancing, I disconnect, ensuring the client is able to integrate the changes within themselves, by themselves; their body knows what to do.
